How is net salary calculated in Uzbekistan?
In Uzbekistan, net salary is calculated by subtracting social security contributions (Pension Fund (INPS)) and income tax (Personal Income Tax (PIT)) from the annual gross salary.
Personal Income Tax (PIT) uses a progressive scale. Rates range from 12 % for the lowest incomes to 12 % for the highest. Only the portion of income that falls within each bracket is taxed at that rate, never the full salary.
Pension Fund (INPS) contributions amount to approximately 4 % of gross salary, funding the pension, healthcare and other social benefits available to employees in Uzbekistan.
This calculator uses official data from State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan (soliq.uz) for 2026. Results are indicative; for exact calculations or specific situations (personal deductions, special regimes) consult a tax adviser or the country's tax authority.
Uzbekistan applies a flat 12% personal income tax since 2021. The employee contributes 4% to the pension fund (INPS). The employer pays an additional 12% in social contributions.
