161 – 250 kWh0.5500
251 – 400 kWh0.6344

We could not confirm whether these blocks are charged progressively (each block at its own price) or whether all consumption is charged at the price of the block reached, so the calculator uses the prepaid price.

The 2025 increase and government support

In March 2025 the government approved an electricity price increase, and the Energy Authority announced that the government would absorb 58% of it. The prepaid price rose from ₪0.5140 in 2024 to ₪0.5551 before VAT. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley the price remains lower, at ₪0.5057.

The calculator does not include fixed charges because we found no monthly fixed fee on prepaid meters in official sources.

Electricity in Gaza

The grid in the Gaza Strip has largely collapsed and residents depend on private generators. On 12 October 2026 the Energy Authority in Gaza capped the price of generator electricity at ₪29 per kWh. That is not a grid tariff; the prices on this page apply to the West Bank.
